本學期西洋文學概論課程內容包含
(1)舊約聖經
(2)荷馬史詩（Iliad, Odyssey）
(3)羅馬史詩（Virgil's Aeneid）
(4)但丁神曲（The Divine Comedy）
使用教科書為 The Norton Anthology of Western Literature.
Vol. 1. 8th edition.
另有參考書：Mythology
(by Edith Hamilton)

利用英文譯本引介西方上古時期文學的兩大傳統源頭－－ 希伯來舊約與希臘神話和史詩，並延伸到羅馬史詩與中世紀作品的選讀。 |
